Ferrite Magnets (Ceramic Magnets), a type of permanent magnet, are produced by calcining a mixture of iron oxide (Fe2O3) and strontium carbonate (SrCO3).
The production cost is very low. In addition to a low production cost, sintered ferrite is durable under severe environmental conditions and resists corrosion, making it one of the most widely used permanent magnets.
